At Fahari Off the Grid, food is more than a meal. it’s an experience. We’re tucked away on a dirt road under baobab trees, just a few minutes from the main beach in Kizimkazi Mkunguni. The journey takes you off the beaten path, and the reward is a table with a view of the Indian Ocean, golden skies, and a taste of Jamaica served with island hospitality.
Our kitchen brings together Jamaican cooking and the bounty of Zanzibar. Jerk marinades, fresh seafood and slow-cooked stews are paired with local vegetables and spices. It’s flavourful, soulful, and served in a relaxed setting where guests can linger over cocktails until the stars come out.
At Fahari Off the Grid, every dish mixes island ingredients with Jamaican heart. It’s food with a story and sunsets that stick with you. Come for the flavours, stay for the view.
We keep our menu simple, fresh, and rooted in flavour. Guest favourites include:
Vegan and gluten-free guests will always find options — from bammy bruschetta to our lemongrass-infused banana gateau.
